Pair of Fused Glass Birds

These cheerful birds will brighten your home year round. They make great Christmas Tree ornaments. Their dichroic wings capture and reflect the light beautifully on the tree. Their transparent glass bodies will color the light passing through them. But after the holiday they sill shine as sun catchers. They look lovely in a window with the sun passing through them.

These beauties are totally handmade. The bird bodies are cut from a sheet of colored glass with a special glass saw. The wings are cut separately from a sheet of dichroic glass. The eye is cut from a glass rod. They are then assembled and fired in my glass kiln and then carefully annealed for durability.

These are made to order but can usually ship within 1-3 days. Dichroic color and pattern will vary but be consistent within the pair. Ribbon color may also vary. If you have a preference for color, please let me know when you order and I will try to honor your request.
